DISCOVER THE PABST MANSION:

In 1892, the Flemish Renaissance Mansion of Captain Frederick Pabst was completed, and was considered the jewel of Milwaukee's famous avenue of mansions called Grand Avenue. Today the Mansion remains as a symbol of a time of elegance, sophistication, and grand social events. Experience the grandeur for yourself as you entertain your guests in one of Milwaukee's finest residences. Join the many individuals and companies who have used the Mansion as a spectacular backdrop to their event. Business leaders and community members have found that this historic home provides a unique setting for meetings, private dinners, parties, weddings, and other events.

Rentals

• Reception — $1,000 for a 3 hour time period, plus $200 for each additional hour. Holiday Season $1,250.
• Wedding & Reception — $1,150 for a 4 hour time period, plus $150 for each additional hour. Holiday Season $1,300.
• Wedding Ceremony Only — $600 for a 2 hour time period, plus $200 for each additional hour. Restrictions apply to holiday season ceremony only events. Holiday Season $750.
• Business Meeting — $300 for half day meeting. $500 for full day meeting. Includes use of Master Suite for groups 30-40 or the Board Room for groups 20 or less and a tour of the Mansion.
• Parking (secured) — $50 for use of secured lot after 5:00 p.m. weekdays and any time on weekends. Access from Pabst Mansion’s driveway.
• Piano — $100 for the use of the Mansion’s piano.
• Tents — $250 for the erection of tents on the Pabst Mansion’s grounds. Restrictions apply to the use and placement of tents.
• Holiday Season: mid-November through mid-January.
• A refundable security deposit of $300 is due within 5 days of the issue of the contract. Deposit is in addition to the rental fee, which is due on or before the day of the event. Deposit is refunded if there has been no damage to the museum, its contents or grounds and the arrangements of the contract were met.

Photography Rentals

• Photography Session - $300 for 90 minutes, plus $100 for each additional hour. Holiday Season $400.
• A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due two weeks prior to the event to guarantee date and time of event.
• Rental fee is due on or before the date of the event. Fee does not include a tour of the Mansion.
• Only professional photography is allowed in the Mansion. Photographers and renters are responsible for all items on the 'Photographer Guidelines for the Pabst Mansion' sheet. Renters must provide a copy of this sheet to the photographer.

Mansion Capacity

The Mansion’s capacity is greatly dependant on the activities that will take place at the event and the time of year. The following are but a few examples of the Pabst Mansion’s smaller capacity sizes. Please be sure to discuss your needs with our Rental Coordinator to determine appropriate size limits for your event.

• Cocktail/Wedding Receptions - 125+
• Sit-Down Dinners - indoor only, Master Suite seating - up to 70
• Wedding Ceremonies - indoor, seated - up to 50 --- indoor, standing - up to 80

Rental Policies

All guests, performers, or other contracted individuals for events are subject to the following policies:

• The Mansion is available for rental from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. except business meetings which may be from 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
• The event is limited to times and spaces stated in the rental contract.
• The renter must use an approved caterer.
• The renter must rent tables, chairs, linens, china, glasses, silver and tents as the Pabst Mansion does not provide these items.
• All deliveries, set-ups, etc. must be coordinated in advance with the museum staff to assure that they will not conflict with the tour schedule.
• The renter or a representative should be at the Mansion 1/2 hour before the arrival of their guests to take care of last minute arrangements.
• Captain Frederick Pabst Mansion, Inc. reserves the right to refuse entry to individuals under the influence of drugs or alcohol or are otherwise exhibiting inappropriate behavior.
• No smoking in the Pabst Mansion.
• Dancing and amplified music are prohibited inside the Mansion.
• Tented events may have music and dancing outside on the grounds of the Pabst Mansion.

Food, beverage, etc. restrictions

• Decorations must be cleared with the Mansion.
• Absolutely no nails, tacks, staples, scotch tape or masking tape.
• Beverages are limited to white wine, champagne, beer, hard liquor, and white or cola soda. No red wine, dark fruit juice, red soda or red punch.
• Sauces are limited to non-red tomato or fruit sauces; i.e. no cocktail sauce, raspberry, strawberry, cherry or tomato based sauces are allowed. When in doubt - ask.
• Flowers must be silk or paper. Fresh flowers are only allowed if done by a professional florist. Flowers must be set up and removed on the day of the event.
• Candles are not allowed. Votives possible upon approval.

Preffered Caterers & Bar Services

A licensed caterer/bartender must provide all food and beverage. Caterers and bartenders must carry liability insurance that lists the Pabst Mansion as "an additional insured." Below are approved caterers of the Pabst Mansion. Arrangements for tables, chairs, linens, china, silverware, and other rentals are made by the caterer. Renter must provide catering service with a copy of the 'Caterers Guidelines for the Pabst Mansion' sheet. Please set up a time to meet with your caterer and the Pabst Mansion's Rental Coordinator at the Pabst Mansion for a consultation.
