A GRAND AVENUE CHRISTMAS

The Captain Frederick Pabst Mansion, 2000 West Wisconsin Avenue, known for its nationally recognized holiday displays, is proud to present A Grand Avenue Christmas, November 12, 2004-January 9, 2005. The season will kick off with the annual opening reception on Thursday, November 11th, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. The evening will feature live music, hors d'oeuvres and champagne. Reservations for the opening reception can be made by calling (414) 931-0808 or by visiting our online Gift Shoppe at www.pabstmansion.com. The gala is free to members as a "Thank You" for their ongoing and generous support. Non-members are encouraged to become members or join us on this special evening for $35 per person.
Each year's magnificent d≥cor attracts over 10,000 visitors, and this season will be no exception. The Mansion's rooms will be elegantly transformed by Wisconsin designers, local businesses and residents.

The beautiful decorations continue on the second floor, with a special exhibition in Elsbeth's Room, of vintage dolls, toys, and many wonderful items from Christmas' past.
Tour the Pabst Mansion on weekends in December and enjoy live music!

Need an extra special location to take your family Christmas photo? How about the Pabst Mansion's elegant Musicians' Nook?! Guests will again be welcome to bring the family and their cameras and capture a truly unique portrait. A great opportunity for those who create their own Christmas cards! The Musicians' Nook will be fully decorated and available for photos on November 12th. General admission is required. No reservations needed. Availability is on a first come first serve basis. Donations of $5 per family are greatly appreciated and will support the ongoing restoration efforts of the Pabst Mansion.

DICKENS DINNERS are back again this year on December 16, 17, 20, 21, and 22. Bartolotta's will prepare a traditional English feast including "crackers". Charles Dickens himself will delight guests as he reads aloud from the timeless classic, A Christmas Carol. Reserve your place at this traditional Olde English Yuletide by calling Bartolotta's at (414) 258-7885.

Visit Milwaukee's finest mansions for one low price of $15 with the HOLIDAY SEASON PASS. Inspired by holidays long ago, the Charles Allis Art Museum, Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum, and Captain Frederick Pabst Mansion are all decorated for the season according to their unique architectural styles. The Pabst Mansion's holiday hours are: Monday-Saturday 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Sunday Noon-4:00p.m. All holiday tours are self guided.
